With three decades of experience, Gary leverages his intellectual capabilities along with predictive analytics and his own frameworks to create solutions that allow businesses to always deliver on what they promise.
Gary has advised global public, private, and academic leaders, including the former U.S. Secretary of State, Head of the National Security Agency, and Office of the Director of National Intelligence. With diversified experience in complex risk consulting, he has worked with directors, CxOs, Big Four partners, and insurance underwriters to provide tailored solutions for high-value products. Gary was also a Partner at Booz Allen Hamilton, Research Director, and Market Analyst at the Gartner Group, Global Head of Marsh’s Supply Chain Risk Resiliency business, and CISO & CBCO at Chase Manhattan Bank and Prudential. He was also appointed a founding member of the Advisory Committee on Supply Chain Competitiveness by the United States Secretary of Commerce, and also received a U.S. Secret Service Commendation for his actions during 9/11.
Gary’s entrepreneurial spirit has transcended his entire career with a hyperfocus on building innovative risk management solutions designed to deliver visible business results. He is a globally-recognized thought leader and subject matter expert in supply chain and risk management, as well as the author of three books. As a pioneer in the risk management industry, Gary has made significant published contributions, including his work on the World Economic Forum’s “Building Resilience in Supply Chains” report and the Global Risk Report on H5N1 Pandemic Preparedness. Today, Uncertainty Advantage allows Gary to share his expertise and fuel his purpose while being the conduit to help others fuel theirs too.

A seasoned operations professional, Mike DiMaio has extensive experience across various industries including the pharmaceutical sector. At Uncertainty Advantage, he is responsible for gathering, measuring, and analyzing raw materials and supplier risk intelligence used to manufacture high-value drug substances and products.
For the last five years, Mike was an analyst and first responder where he gained expertise in critical risk planning, monitoring, and response solutions. Currently studying Geological Science at Rutgers University, he is passionately involved in research to constrain the formation processes of New Jersey’s most productive mineral resources using stable isotopes.
